South Korean automaker Hyundai has announced an amazing new campaign titled Hyundai Undead, in which it will give away a black 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT wrapped in the cover of the 100th issue of Charlie Adlard's "The Walking Dead" comic book and showcase a unique Zombie Survival Machine, a vehicle to help anyone survive a potential Zombie Apocalypse and based on the new Hyundai Elantra Coupe, coming soon.
Robert Kirkman, creator of "The Walking Dead" best-selling comic book and graphic novel series with whom Hyundai partnered for the project, states, "I had a good experience working with Hyundai and Future US last year and I thought it would be totally awesome if a fan of the comic were able to win a great new car made even cooler with Charlie's "Designing the Zombie Survival Machine was just the icing on the cake. I'm very excited to see the amazing job they are doing in turning my doodles and ideas into a truly awesome car. I hope they will let me do a test drive before Comic-Con!"1
The Zombie Survival Machine will be displayed in San Diego, CA at Comic-Con this year, and fans will have the chance to check out its unique features, such as: a zombie plow cow catcher complete with spikes for rolling through crowds of the undead and special weapon storage compartments. They'll also have the chance to participate in fun activities like a zombie shooting range.
